Mary Lou Brown, 67, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Born on September 1, 1955, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Donald Wunderlin Sr. and Annamae (Flynn) Wunderlin.
Mary Lou retired after more than 32 years of service at Kmart, and then after seven years of working for Parkview Hospital.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Robert Brown, Sr.; 3 children, Annamae (Nate Bird) Brown, Daniel Brown, Ruth (Scott McCaffrey) Brown; step-son, Robert Brown, Jr.; 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Jim) Stilwell, Dolores (Michael) Harper, Barbara (Richard) Schneider, RoseAnn (Byron) Schutt, Jeri (Robert) Farbers Jr., and Patty (Ralph) Aalders.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by newborn twin brothers, William and Lawrence; niece, Michelle Schneider (Sheets); step-son, Ronald Brown; brother, Donald Wunderlin, Jr.; and sisters, Carol Hill and Jean Mackin.
A funeral service to honor Mary Lou's life and legacy will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Peace Lutheran Church, 4900 Fairfield Avenue, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Kevin Mann will be officiating. She will be laid to rest at Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco.
