Mary Diana Easton, 75, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022, at North Woods Village in Fort Wayne. She was born on April 7, 1947, in Rome, New York. She graduated from Albany Medical Center School of Nursing in 1968 with a Registered Nursing Degree. Surviving are her husband of nearly 53 years, Andrew; sons Andrew (Duane), Kenneth (Martha) and Scott (Emily); grandsons Evan, Landon, Bryson, Eli, and a grandchild on the way; step-grandson Rowan; brothers Joseph (Dawn) Swistak, Henry (Barb) Swistak, sister-in-law Mary Lynn Hayden (Shawn), and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Beatrice Swistak, and a sister, Alice (Leo) Thompson. Mary was an avid quilter and cook, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11 AM at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 3 PM to 7 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. Calling will also be held one hour prior to Mass on Friday. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Heart to Heart Hospice or North Woods Village.
