Mary Louise Fogwell

Mary Louise Fogwell, 95, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025. She was born September 19, 1929, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter to the late Russell C. and Hazel M. (Dafforn) Genth. Mary was a 1948 graduate of Elmhurst High School and worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Brooklyn Medical Clinic, retiring in 1990. She is survived by her children, Deborah Ann (Mike) Benzinger of Roanoke, Indiana, Nanette Marie (David) Baker of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Douglas Wayne (Teresa) Fogwell of Naples, Florida; grandchildren, Erin (Steve) Armstrong, Joshua (Amelia) Hermes, Megan (Jim) Whatton, Tyler (Amy) Baker, Kyle (Kelly) Fogwell, Lauren (Mike) Walsh, and Hannah (Evan) Shor; step grandchildren, Jason, Tom, Andrea, and Aleachia; great-grandchildren, Andrew (Gracie) Armstrong, Aubree Armstrong, Alaythea Baker, Judah Baker, Henry Fogwell, Colin Fogwell, Isaac Fogwell, William Walsh, Elizabeth Walsh, Lydia Walsh, Kennedy Shor, Owen Shor, and Riley Shor; and seven step great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lerland Waldo Fogwell in 2014; and sister, Betty Tobias. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 17, 2025, at 11:00 am at Avalon Missionary Church, 1212 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation for Mary will also be held Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the church. Burial will be at Maple Lawn Nine Mile Cemetery, 6303 Winters Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809.
