She is survived by her daughters Ruby Diane (Thomas) Bates, Betty (Tim) Callahan and Michele Williams; sons Mourey Herndon and David Mahler; granddaughter Amy Herndon-McKinzie; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Jim Mahler and her 2nd husband Morris Herndon, son Terry Stevenson; sister Betty Lou Jordan and brother Kenneth Baker.
An open house will be held at Ruby Diane Bates home on Sunday February 26, 2017 from 1-5pm.
