Mary C. "Betty" Welch Jacobs

Mary C. “Betty” Jacobs 92, of Fort Wayne passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2012. Born on April 8, 1920 in Fort Wayne she graduated from Central High School and International Business College. She was a former 4-H Leader and Girl Scout Leader. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church of Arcola. She retired from the former Lincoln National Bank Installment Loan Dept. She is survived by her five children: Kathey Kinsey, Ft. Wayne, Debby Anderson. Yoder, Cindy (Ken)

Wilkins, Ft Wayne, Mary Neuenschwander, Ft. Wayne, and Harry G. (Wendy) Jacobs, Ft. Wayne and 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Burdella Welch, her husband Harry A. Jacobs in 1999, 4 brothers, Robert , John, Eugene and David Welch. Also two sons-in-law, Jerry Kinsey and Steve Anderson. Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 am Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12305 Arcola Rd, Arcola with prayers 10:15 am at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Rd. Chapel, 6424 Winchester Rd. Visitation is 3-9 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
