Born August 26, 1929 in Mitchellsburg, KY to Ray and Sally Burkhead, Mary was a long-time resident of Fish Lake, IN, Southern California and most recently Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Willis Price and siblings: Ben Burkhead, Virginia Perry, Kenneth Burkhead, Donnie Burkhead, David Burkhead, Melba Louise Burkhead, Robert Ray Burkhead, and Barbara Ritchie.
She is survived by her nine children:Patricia Jones (Michael) DiOrio, Ramona (Stewart) Werner, Shirley Tripp, Roberta (Barry) Shainman, Teresa (John) Elkins, Raymond Price, David Price, Tracy (Alvin) Davis, Michael Price. She was blessed with 32 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Mary was an avid and accomplished crocheter who favored family and friends with her works for many decades. She applied her skills to the end of her life. At Mary's request there will be no formal services. Memorials may be sent to American Cancer Society or American SPCA. Arrangements entrusted to Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Mungovan.
