Mary Maxine Pritchett , 95, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at Hamilton House in Fort Wayne. She was born in Potoka, IN to the late Otto and Esther Oursler. Maxine graduated from Princeton HS in and also from Vincennes University. Her hobbies included knitting, sewing, cooking and baking. Maxine was an outgoing woman that enjoyed spending time with her friends. Maxine will be remembered for her quick wit and her biting sense of humor. She was an accomplished and professional trained tap dancer and also taught tap for many years. She retired at the age of 85 from Way Engineering in Houston TX, where she lived for many years. Surviving are her son, Douglas (Patricia) Pritchett of Fort Wayne, IN' grandchildren, Kimberly Barker. Christopher (Natalie) Barker,Seven Barker all of Fort Wayne; great-great-grandchildren, Olivia, Preston, Payton Barker and nephews, Leonard "Butch" Oursler, Jr. Jerry Oursler . Mary was preceded in death by husband, Joseph B Pritchett, brother, Leonard Oursler. A Memorial Service will be held 6:30 pm, Thursday May 24, 2018 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling hour one hour prior. Memorials may be made to the Meals on Wheels of Houston TX.
