Mary K. Reichert, 92, passed away December 31, 2014 at her home. Born in Garrett, Indiana, she graduated from Fort Wayne Northside High School in 1940. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and playing Scrabble. She was always knitting sweaters and Christmas stockings for her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
She is survived by a daughter Candyce Gault; sons, Randy (Susan) Reichert, Joe Reichert and daughter-in-law Christine Reichert, all of Fort Wayne. One granddaughter; ten grandsons; and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Eugene Reichert and son, Brent Reichert. Her parents Bufford and Mary Johnston and brothers Samuel and Norman Johnston.
Graveside services in the cemetery chapel, 2:00 P.M. Tuesday January 13, 2015 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6600 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. Arrangements under the direction of Klaehn, Fahl, Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN.
