Mary Ann Royse 95 of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on March 30, 2023. Born on July 6, 1927, she graduated from Central High School in 1945 and worked at Home Telephone Co. In 1953 Mary Ann married John R. Royse who preceded her in death after 37 years of marriage. She was a caregiver much of her life caring for children, parents and in-laws. Mary Ann loved and cared for many animals. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Edward Weitz. Mary Ann is survived by sons James Royse and Steven (Paula) Royse, grandchildren Taylor Royse and Mary Elizabeth (Ron) Haller as well as three great grandchildren.
A private family service has been held. Burial is in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN. Arrangements have been entrusted to D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Humane Fort Wayne formerly Allen County SPCA, or the Allen County Council on Aging.
