Mary was a graduate of Wauseon High School in Wauseon, Ohio. She obtained her beautician license from Ravenscroft College in Ft. Wayne. She also worked in the cafeterias of Ft. Wayne Community Schools.
Mary loved traveling to Orlando, FL to spend time at Disney. She enjoyed listening to music, spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren, as well as taking care of her parakeets. She was an animal lover of all varieties and enjoyed her "grand-cats and dogs."
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jerry Shenfeld; children, Joe (Kendrea) Shenfeld; Josh (Jennifer Beer) Shenfeld and Andy (Laura) Shenfeld; grandchildren, Gustav, Sasha, and Griffin Shenfeld and Emma Bedilion; and brother, Richard (Ruth) Strole.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, March 29, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Ft. Wayne, IN with calling from 11 am until 1:30 pm.
Entombment will take place in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Ft. Wayne, IN.
