Mathis “Moose” Gunner Michael, 3, was born on July, 26, 2014 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The third of three sons. He loved playing with his brothers and animals. He was full of love and brought joy to any one he came in contact with. Mathis “Moose” Gunner Michael was pronounced at 10:27am on June 13, 2018 due to a sudden brain aneurysm. As tragic as it is for the family, they find comfort knowing that their son's organs will be donated for a greater purpose. Moose was a super hero and he saved lives. He loved airplanes and always talked about how he wanted to fly. Surviving are his parents; Cassandra and Anthony Michael, 2 brothers; Ethan and Ames Michael, Grandmothers; Peggy Marschand and Sandra Willhelm, 6 Aunts, 5 great Aunts, 5 Uncles, 8 great uncles and many many cousins. He had several family members he has called his own not all by blood. He was so loved. Mathis was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Scott Marschand and Thomas Willhelm. His great grandmother Ila May and great grandfather Warner Marschand. Family would like to invite friends and the public for visitation on June 19, 2018 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825.A Celebration of life service will be held immediately following the visitation at 7:00pm at D.O.
