Matthew Carboni

Matthew Alan Carboni Sr., Age 43, of Fort Wayne, died on August 6th. His celebration of life will be held at D.O. McComb's on 1140 Lake Avenue Fort Wayne, IN 46805 On Saturday, August 14th from 5-8 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 1 PM.

Born on September 3rd, 1977 Matt was a dad who loved his boys more than anything on Earth. He was a die-hard Bears, Cubs, and Bulls fan and had a passion for music. Matt lived on his Bass Guitar and made sure everyone [who would listen] understood his point of view that the bass is the most important instrument in any band. He was proud to have just bought a house in the 08 where he grew up.

Matt is preceded in death by his stepbrother Jeffrey Andress. He is survived by his parents Belinda Sue Powe (David) and Gary William Carboni (Patricia), his sons Zachary Ormiston "Junior," Vincent Carboni, Maison Hilton, Jack Kaiser, grandson Bo, Brother Joel Carboni (Syimah), Stepsister Kara Hartz (David), Melanie Andress, Ashley Peppler (Doug), Stepbrother Jonathan Andress (Rona), Nephew Ethan Carboni, and Niece Monet Carboni and several step nieces and nephews.

He had just been promoted at Jack Laurie where he was proud to be part of the family. Matt was one of only seven flooring journeymen in the United States.
