Matthew James Turner, 44, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital. Born July 25, 1977 in Elizabethtown, KY, he was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School in Austintown, OH, class of 1995. He was a supervisor with CK Products. Matthew loved football, his favorite teams being the Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed cooking and especially making homemade pizzas. Matthew was fascinated with space and enjoyed taking pictures of the moon, sky and stars. He was amused with technology and always had the newest gadgets. He was a Christian man and lover of all dogs. He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Sheree Turner of Fort Wayne; wife, Emily Turner of Duluth, GA; son, Kadien Rust of Indianapolis, IN; brothers, Steven (Rachel) Turner of Etters, PA., and Christopher (Kayla) Turner of Fort Wayne; stepchildren, Danica Taylor and Cameron (Andrea) Taylor, both of Georgia; step grandson, Leonidas Taylor of Georgia; nephews, Cohen, Rhys, Peyton, and A.J.; and nieces, Evelyn, Avery, and Jenna. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Hilda Hill; paternal grandparents, Harvey and Inez Turner; and his beloved Yorkie, Jazzy.
