Maude “Maudie” Fay Flowers, 75, passed peacefully on July 25, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Maudie was the epitome of “still waters run deep.” Quiet and observant, she was perceptively sweet and thoughtful. Maude had a wonderful sense of humor and a laugh that made people genuinely smile in return. She enjoyed crafts, movies, 60’s music, holiday decorating, jewelry, and fashion, and rarely turned down an opportunity to shop or dine out. She is survived by her foster family, Scott, Marie, Emily, Nicolas, Lily Jewett, and Phyllis Butts. Maude is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mildred Flowers; and a half-brother, James Huss. Maude will be fondly remembered by her friends at Easter Seals ARC and Life Adult Day Academy.
