Max E. Lordier, 85, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed at Parkview Hospice on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. He was born on July 20, 1935 in Fort Wayne to the late Gene and Marguerite (Hinsch) Lordier. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for many years and a proud member of I.U.O.E Local 103. Max loved his 55 Chevy Truck and was proud to see the restoration and legacy of it continue through his friend, Joey Lefevra. He was grateful for the staff, he considered friends, at Heritage Park for always loving him. Max is survived by his daughters, Angela (Patrick) Filler and Stacey Harruff-Parker; grandchildren, Taylor (Mike May) Harruff, Colin (Jhayla) Harruff, John Paul Filler and Andrew Filler; great-grandchildren, Blakely Harruff and Myka Ann Harruff; and sister, LuAnn Hinshaw. Also preceding him in passing was his wife of 59 years, Sally (Dager) Lordier; step-mother, Modesta Lordier; and brothers, Devon Lordier and Dennis Nichter. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30am on Monday, March 22, 2021 at St. Jude Catholic Church 2130 Pemberton Drive Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 3-6pm on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals 6810 Old Trail Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809. Memorial contributions can be made to Masses at St. Jude’s in honor of Max Lordier
