Maxine Ruth Hively, 92, peacefully entered God’s loving, heavenly care from her home on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Maxine was born March 16, 1930 in Fort Wayne to the late Edwin and Martha (Wesling) Hormann.
Maxine was a homemaker and a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.
Surviving is her brother, Robert (Beverly) Hormann; nephews Tom (Dianne) Moellering and Tim (Patty) Hormann; and nieces Julie (Stephen) Getz, Michelle Walker, and Cindy (Rick) Kok. Maxine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Charles Hively; sister, Evelyn Moellering; brother Victor Hormann; niece Carol Jean Smith; nephew Mike Moellering; and nephews-in-law Gene Walker and Gary Smith.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Arrangements by D.O.
