She worked as a Medical Assistant for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed the outdoors, lakefront relaxation, horseback riding, coloring, listening to a wide variety of music and spending time with family.
Melissa was preceded in death by her father, David L. Fleischman and grandparents, Esther Moreland, Bud Moreland, Fred Fleischman and Imelda Fleischman.
Left to cherish in her memory are her beloved husband of 29 years, Ferlin Murphy; mother, Lynn Fleischman; mother-in-law, Doris Murphy; stepson, Chasden Murphy; siblings, Kelly Mandel, Angela Osmond, Danielle Fleischman, Johnny “Eagle” Fleischman and Logan Fleischman; two grandchildren along with numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
