

Melody had a deep love for gardening and spent countless hours nurturing her plants. She was an avid player of Scrabble and found great joy in the game. Her affection for animals was evident in her love for her cat, Leslie. Additionally, she was a passionate bird watcher, with a particular fondness for observing eagles.
Melody was an active member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, where she contributed her time and energy to the congregation.
She is survived by her son, Justine (Amber Rose) Fey; grandchildren, Lily and Max Rose; brother, Mark (Jackie Spratley) Burns; sister, Kimberly Singleton; granddaughter, Jasmin Fey; great-grandchildren, Ava Hamilton and Haley Fey; and best friend, Karen (Bob) Itt. Melody is preceded in passing by her husband, Max Fey; son, Duane Fey; parents, Max and Rosette (Black) Burns; brother-in-law, Mike Singleton; and niece, Elaina Singleton.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
