Melvina is survived by her children, Janet Denham, Marvin Martin, Michael Martin, and Lori Martin Brooks; grandchildren, Jarec Quest, Rasheed Martin, Marcus Martin, Kimberly Martin Parker, Jamika Martin (Demale Amos), Monique Barnfield, Julie Barnfield, Nicole (Robert) Rembert, Janet Brooks (Antione Austin), Robert Wells, and Jeffrey Wells (Karrina Smith); host of great-grandchildren; and siblings, Paula Gethers, Michael Marion and Earl Stanley Marion. She was preceded in death by her beloved family of husband, Marcus Martin; son, Douglas Martin SR.; grandson, Douglas Martin II.; great-granddaughter, Mariah Martin; and several siblings.
Funeral service will be on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 11:00 am at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home Lakeside Park (1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805) with visitation one hour prior.
