Meredith Joy Stombaugh, 17 of Fort Wayne, IN, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 18, 2012, at 10:00 pm at her residence, after a 6-week bout with brain cancer. Born October 7, 1994, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Susan (Kornhaus) and Scott Stombaugh. Also surviving are her younger siblings: Anna, Elliot, Laurel, Audrey, Will, Seth, Kristen, Rebecca, and Rachel. As a homeschooling student she enjoyed playing the harmonica, knitting, sewing, learning about and dreaming of going to Scotland, cooking up large quantities of food, playing with her youngest sister, whistling, and picking wildflowers.
