Michael Francis Jastrzemski

Michael Francis Jastrzemski, 68, of Huntertown, Ind., passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born August 6, 1953 in Toledo, Ohio, he was a graduate of Marmion Military Academy in Aurora, Ill. Michael furthered his education at IPFW in Fort Wayne and was a correctional officer with the Northeast Juvenile Correctional Facility, from which he retired. After retirement, he worked at Ricker’s Gas Station on Lima Road. Michael loved spending time with his family and loved his wife deeply. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Jastrzemski of Huntertown, Ind.; daughter, Jackie Jastrzemski of Huntertown, Ind.; grandchildren, Austin Jastrzemski, Chase Keller, Addison Barrett, and Brandon McCann; father, Frank Jastrzemski of Fort Wayne; siblings, Kathy (Dick) Wolfe of Fort Wayne, Timothy (Dayra) Jastrzemski of Middleburg, Fla., Patrick (Roxanne) Jastrzemski of Fort Wayne, and Maureen (Mike) Williams of Fort Wayne; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was also preceded in death by his mother, Doris Jastrzemski; nephew, Travis Brake; and niece, Tabetha (Brake) Sproat.
