Michael D. “Mike” Mays, 52 of Fort Wayne, IN passed away September 19, 2018. He was born January 7, 1966, the son of George and Shelby Jean (Shackels) Mays. Mike enjoyed working on cars and going to car shows. He is survived by his mother, Shelby Jean Mays, his siblings, Latisa (Scott) Guest, Steven (Sherry) Mays, Tammie Mays, Christine Biltz, niece and nephews, Jason, Phillip, Amber, Dylan and Chase, two daughters and seven grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 2 PM at the IOOF Cemetery in New Haven, IN. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial gifts be directed to the family to defray the funeral expenses. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to D.O. McComb & Sons-Lakeside Park Funeral Home.
