Sending heartfelt sympathies to Julie and family. We are so very saddened by the loss of Mike. Miss texting back and forth as we did nearly every day with the editing. Loved and appreciated his delight and advice with our grandkids’ athletic ventures. Please know our love and prayers are with you as we share in your sorrow.

Mike was the best coach I ever had. He taught me about being a man first before anything regarding the sport of baseball we both loved. The joy that he made me feel as a person, not just an athlete, cannot be explained. My life was just better because he was in it, so many years ago, but he left an unforgettable mark on my character, my dedication to friends and my personal worldview. He will be missed and I will never, ever think about my past without him in it. Godspeed Mike, I love ya brother. Pete Weaver
