He earned his Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, and was an Independent Consultant for several years
Michael is survived by his daughter, Leslie Ellis-Skal of Garrett, IN; son, Christopher Skal of Susquehanna, PA; granddaughter, Nikkia Ellis of Butler, IN; a great granddaughter, Ray’ka Ellis-Hopkins and sister, Stephanie Von Skal.
He was preceded in death by his of 59 years Joan Penelope Skal October 3, 2023, and a grandson, Michael Ellis.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate the lives of Michel and Joan Skal, will be 11:00 am Thursday October 26, 2023 at Lutheran Life Villages 6701 S. Anthony Blvd. Fort Wayne, IN with visitation 2 hours prior. Private burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn, IN. Memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church or the Salvation Army.
