Michael was born to Richard and Betty Smith on September. 15, 1953.
On May 27, 1972, he married his high school sweetheart, Janice Elaine Fischer- Smith. Michael was a graduate from East Noble High School.
Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Michael loved the outdoors; he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He has left his family and friends with a lot of memories that will never be forgotten or left untold. He will be missed and loved by all.
Michael is survived by his daughters, Michelle Smith and Lisa Foster; his son, Ty Smith; seven grandchildren, Taylor Foster, Hayle Ferrier, Tara Kabat, Tori Snodderly, Shae Foster, and Zenna Smith; and four great-grandchildren, Oaklynn Ferrier, Kendall Ferrier, Lincoln Ferrier, and Naomi Foster.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Janice E. Fischer- Smith.
Private services will be held.
