Michael Eugene Vachon

Michael E. Vachon, 60, of Fort Wayne passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016. He was born on September 13, 1955. He worked for Gleve Construction and also did other jobs working for his own business. He enjoyed reading, fishing, and being outdoors in nature hiking and being with his dogs. Surviving family include his children, Jaymi (Steve) Broden, Krista Vachon, and Michael Bryan (Jennifer) Vachon; parents, Winfield and Patricia Vachon; siblings, Cindy Vachon, Jeanne Dumont, Lori Jehl, Sandy Savage, David Vachon, Stephen Vachon; five grandchildren; and his dog, Zipper. He was preceded in passing by his grandparents, Walter and Genevieve Gildea; and Sylvester and Clara Vachon. A private family service will happen at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Therese Catholic Church.
