Michelle Lynn (Frantz) Mitchell, 53, passed on September 19, 2026. She was born on July 18, 1973 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Michelle worked at Kroger, United Technology, and spent her time doing home health care. She enjoyed participating in 4-H, baking, and traveling. Michelle was very kind and loved to help people. She is survived by her parents, John and Valerie (Schorr) Frantz; siblings, John (Kristyn) Frantz, Ranee (John) Zeider, Elizabeth Eakin, and Alex Eakin; and seven nieces and nephews. Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Andrew (Goldie) Schorr and Lucy (Joseph) Frantz. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Road, Yoder, Indiana 46798, with visitation one hour prior. She will be laid to rest at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Masses in Memory of Michelle Lynn (Frantz) Mitchell.
