Mike Schible, 67, passed on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. He was born on October 27, 1958, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, son of the late Ronald and Carol (Bodecker) Schible. Mike was a member of Elmhurst Church of the Nazarene for several years. He enjoyed singing, going to breakfast with friends from church, and family dinners. Mike is survived by his wife, Patti Schible; step-daughter, Brandy Mullins; ten adopted grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Schible; and brothers, Greg, David, and Brian Schible. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 14, 2026 at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Burial to follow the service at Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Elmhurst Church of the Nazarene.
