Mildred R “Millie” Coffman, 100, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Born on March 23, 1922, in St Joseph Township, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Anson J and Rosa Mae (Sinkes) Hoyt. She was a member of North Christian Church, Fort Wayne, was an avid volunteer at Parkview Hospital for over 30 years and was an honorary member of the Anthony Wayne Lions Club.
She is survived by her children, Karen Coffman (Bob) Smith, Larry Coffman, and Gary (Leanne) Coffman; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of almost 64 years, Donald E Coffman; and six brothers.
A Celebration of Millie's Life will be 1:30 pm, Saturday, March 11, 2023, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 11:30 am, until time of service. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, at a later date. Memorial donations may be given to the Anthony Wayne Lions Club (PO Box 12545, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46863).
