Monte Lynn Davidson

Monte was the son of the late Galen and Hilda Davidson.

For more than 20 years, Monte worked as a floral designer with Monticello Floral Co. in Monticello, Indiana. His creativity and remarkable eye for color and design were evident in the beauty he brought into everyday moments, and in the care he took with his work. A gentle presence to those around him, Monte carried himself with a quiet steadiness that made others feel welcome—never meeting a stranger, and offering the kind of warmth that left people encouraged and at ease. He especially enjoyed time shared with family and with his good friends.

Monte is survived by his wife, Susan Davidson of Fort Wayne, Indiana; son, Christopher Davidson of New Castle, Indiana; brother, Kirby (Bambi) Davidson of Burnettsville, Indiana; and sisters, Dorinda Stackhouse of Peru, Indiana, and Shelby Shepherd of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Private services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
