Louise was a member of the Nine Mile United Methodist Church, VFW 7205 and the American Legion Post 31. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting, shopping on QVC and especially loved to travel.
Louise is survived by her children, Dr. Jane Bridges and her husband Mark Bock and Douglas Bridges; grandchildren, Taylor (Adam) Arthur, A.J., Sydney and Rian Bridges; three great-grandchildren, Wesley, Aleigh and Emma Arthur; and her sister, Ruth Reed. She is preceded in death by her husband, David C. Bridges; granddaughter Caitlin Bridges; brothers, Dale, Earl, Ernest, Carl, Arthur and Robert; and sisters, Mary and Linda.
A service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1PM at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation two hours prior. Memorial donations may be made to Nine Mile United Methodist Church. Visit www.mccombandsons.com for online condolences.
