Nancy Ann (Dinse) Kruger, 84, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025. She was born in Tecumseh, Michigan on October 4, 1940. Nancy was the daughter of the late Art and Marie Dinse.
Nancy graduated in 1958 from Tecumseh High School and from Stautzenberger Business College in Toledo. Nancy met her husband, Earl Kruger, while working at the Tastee Freeze in Tecumseh. She always bragged that Earl’s malted milk shakes got thicker and more chocolaty after she and Earl started dating. She worked at Faraday Inc. in Adrian until their wedding in May of 1961 at Grace Lutheran Church. They moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana after the wedding, and she worked at Magnavox until Michael was born in 1964 and Karen was born in 1967. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church for over 60 years and worked there as a school secretary for 24 years until retirement.
She enjoyed raising her children, caring for her cats, bowling and volunteering for her church. Nancy also loved golf, traveling on bus trips and her many friends.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Clarence Earl Kruger; their children, Michael (Tammie) Kruger, Karen (Dave) Jarrell; grandchildren, Chelsea (Zach) Schoeck, Dylan (Ellie) Kruger, Ryan (Grace) Jarrell, Rylee Jarrell; two great-grandchildren, Carter Schoeck & Addisyn Schoeck
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Viola Marie Dinse; her siblings, Sgt. Robert Dinse and Mary Lou Studnick.
A visitation will be at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be at the church on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at Ridgeway Michigan Cemetery where she will join her Michigan family at a later date.
