Nancy Eleanor Pedersen

Nancy Eleanor (Juhasz) Pedersen, 92, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away peacefully at Park Place and joined her Lord and Savior Jesus in eternity on Wednesday June 30, 2026. She was born February 15, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Elizabeth and Julius Juhasz. She met the love of her life Kjell in Cleveland, and they were married June 30, 1956.

Nancy was the nursery school director and preschool teacher during the 1970’s & 80’s at Faith United Church of Christ. She enjoyed singing in the church choirs, Sweet Adelines, the Towns of Harmony, and was a member of Pathway Community Church.

Nancy truly loved to help others by volunteering at churches and was active in missions, the Red Cross, Hospice, and Visiting Veterans.

She is survived by sons Kenneth (Kim), David (Cathy) of Leonardo, New Jersey, daughter-in-law Cheri of Angola, grandchildren Jason (Heather), Bradley (Sarah), Matthew of Hudson, Michigan, Tyler (Sadie), Alec of Lake Tahoe, Nevada, Ashley of Leonardo, New Jersey, Kris, Whitney of Angola, 14 great grand-children, 1 great great grand-daughter, and special friend Bud Hyde. She was preceded in death by husband Kjell, son Eric, parents Elizabeth, Julius, sisters Irene, Helen, Betty, brother Julius, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, July 13, 2026 at Pathway Community Church, 1010 Carroll Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46845, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Rd., Fort Wayne, IN, 46825. Nancy will be laid to rest at Highland Park Cemetery, 2403 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.

Memorial contributions in Nancy's memory may be directed towards Luminary Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
