Nancy E. Schafer, 76, of Fort Wayne passed away Monday, March 28, 2016. She was born on July 22, 1939 to the late Glen and Valaria Miller. She was a co-owner of Parkside Ceramics and later retired from Goodwill. She was involved in the Northeast Indiana Post-Polio Support Group - Ft. Wayne. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and watching Nascar. Surviving family include her daughters, Susan and Angie Schafer. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Donald G. Schafer. Funeral service is 1:30 pm on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation starting at 11:30 am. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse.
