

Naomi Ruth Harber-Bobilya, 87, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Coventry Meadows Nursing Home. She was born on January 22, 1926 in Fort Wayne, and was the daughter of the late Louis and Marie Harber. She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. She worked for People’s Trust Bank and Bobilya Shoes. She was also a homemaker and member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Fort Wayne. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cook, sew and read, and was spirited in politics and cards.
Surviving are her children Claude (Sue) Bobilya III of Mission Texas, Diane Bobilya-Harts of Fort Wayne, Karen (John) Gerni of Fort Wayne, John (Sina) Bobilya of Fort Wayne, Julie Speegle of Juneau Alaska and Judy (Jozsef) Bobilya-Feher of Fort Wayne and 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude M. Bobilya, Jr., daughter MaryBeth Bobilya-Lobdell, grandsons Joshua and Isaac Morris, and brother Louis Harber, Jr.
Funeral service is 2:30 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2013, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2155 Randallia Drive, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Visitation also from 2:00 to 4:00 and 5:30 to 7:30 on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne Street. In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association.
