My Amo Nasif was the best! He was my dad’s younger brother and like a second father to me since I was lucky enough to grow up living in the same neighborhood with him. He was always so kind and loving and would light up every time I walked in the door. He always had a smile on his face and kind words to say. He was very much like his mom and our beloved grandmother, kind and gentle souls. They both loved to tell stories of days gone by and when they laughed, their whole bodies laughed with them! My dad Mel was the oldest brother and he loved to pick on Amo Nasif the most.  My sweet uncle would just smile and wink at me because he always had the grace to let his older brother feel like the winner no matter what the competition was. I was so Blessed to have him, Aunt Mary and Jeff & Joe in my life. We spent many, many great family times together including amazing vacations. I’ll never forget him and know that he is at peace in Heaven growing a garden with my dad, uncle Shaheen  and Sito. God Speed Amo Nasif. Thank you for being such a great uncle to me. I love you dearly and will miss you forever. I can still feel the last hug you gave me when I last saw you. XOXO Your favorite niece, Wanda.....
