Neal L. Richardson

Neal L. Richardson, 64, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at his residence. He was born May 3, 1956 in Fort Wayne, son of the late Maynard and Hilda (Bailey) Richardson. Neal was a graduate of Southside High School and worked as a mechanic at Wayne Asphalt. He loved racing at Baer Field Raceway and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Surviving are his daughter, Rachel Romary of Fort Wayne; son, Chad (Brittney) Richardson of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; one great grandson; and brothers and sister, Larry Richardson, William Richardson, Gary Richardson, Carl Richardson, Joseph Sparks, and Lorrie Richardson, all of the Fort Wayne Area. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Renee Richardson; and sisters, Beverly Putt, Sharon Saylor, Barbara Richardson, and Carol Richardson. A public graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Prairie Grove Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819.
