Nevetta Joyce Clevenger

Nevetta Joyce Clevenger, 77, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020. Nevetta was born June 30, 1942 in Boaz, Alabama to the late Joseph and Pearlie Johnson. She worked as a special education aide for 17 years. She then retired from being a social services director for a nursing home. Her faith was very important to her. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, crafting, reading, and most of all loved the time spent with family. She is survived by her son, Joey Clevenger; daughter, Betty (Lavon) Snyder; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters; four brothers; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Also preceding her in passing was her husband, James Kreg Clevenger. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Indiana with visitation two hours prior. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
