Nicholas J. Shelton, 59, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital. Born July 18, 1962 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Robert Benjamin and Oweda Jo (Brown) Shelton. Nicholas worked as a roofer for several years and as a cook with different local companies. He enjoyed fishing, Star Trek, and playing the game, Diablo. His greatest joy and laughter was spending time with his grandchildren and daughter. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Charles) Rhea of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Tyler, Caiden, Silas, Addison, and Cameron; and brothers, Benjamin “Ben” (Victoria) Shelton and Carl Shelton.
