Niesie was born on July 11, 1931, in Montreal. Quebec. She married Melvin Shulkin in Chicago, on January 29, 1950.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Jensen, of Lyons, CO; a granddaughter, Aliyah Shulkin, of Eugene, OR.
Niesie is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Shulkin; a daughter, Linda Nail; a son, Jeffery Shulkin.
She was a member of Congregation B'nai Jacob.
A graveside service will be on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 1:00 pm, at the Jewish Cemetery.
