Nona L Buuck Wade

NONA L. (BUUCK) WADE, 70, of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010. Born Jan. 9, 1940, in Woodburn, she was a devout Christian, homemaker, and a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, where she was active for over 28 years. She was baptized Jan. 28, 1940; confirmed April 11, 1954, her confirmation Bible verse was John 10 verses 27 and 28. She was also a volunteer at Lutheran Hospital. She is survived by two sons, James Wade of Fort Wayne and Christopher Wade of Boise, Idaho; sister, Doris (Waldo) Conrad of Decatur; three brothers, Robert (Loraine) Buuck of Woodburn, John (Lyla) Buuck of Wisconsin and Dick (Jan) Buuck of Kansas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin H. Wade, in 1994; son, Timothy Wade, in 1973; and parents, Alfred and Ida (Roemke) Buuck. Service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, with calling one hour prior to service at the church. Pastor Thomas Eggold officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
