Nora Marie Grimes

Born September 3, 1941, in Valparaiso, Indiana, she was the daughter of Paul Sr. and Catherine Bartholomew. She was predeceased by her older brother, Paul (Miki) Bartholomew Jr., and her oldest son, Gary Grimes, Jr.

Nora looked forward to family gatherings, cooking and baking, and her heart was kind and generous to those in need. She also loved animals and had a variety of unusual pets throughout her lifetime and enjoyed flowers and gardening.

Devoted mother to Jeff (Becky) Grimes of Plain City, Ohio, Bob (Karen) Grimes of Fort Wayne, and Mike (Jeri) Grimes of Sneedville, TN, and her daughter-in-law Alijah Grimes of Fort Wayne.

Loving grandmother to Travis (Ashley) Grimes of Fort Wayne, Seth (Sam) Grimes of Tustin, California, Zachary Grimes of Hilliard, Ohio, Caitlin Grimes of Unionville Center, Ohio, Derek Grimes, Destiny Grimes, and Dustin Grimes of Sneedville, TN, and Admira Gonzalez, Adisa Kajtezovic, Azra Kajtezovic, and Ajla Kajtezovic of Fort Wayne.

Ecstatic great-grandmother to 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 7819 Decatur Road, Fort Wayne, IN, 46816 on December 13th. Visiting hours are from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will start at 2:00 pm with burial immediately following at the church cemetery. A meal will be provided after services.
