Opal I. Johnson, 80, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Renaissance Village. Born Dec. 27, 1932, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Homer Hardesty and Edith (Foreman). She was a homemaker. She loved Bingo and auctions at Renaissance Village. Surviving are her brother, Homer "Sonny" Hardesty of Fort Wayne. She was also loved by several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William R. Johnson; and two sons, Denny and Robert. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
