Orby Clellan Greene

He married Linda Walker in 1969. He worked for Penn Central, then Conrail and then CSX, for 40 years retiring in 2003. After retiring, he moved to Cloverdale, IN, then Crossville, TN, Lafollette, TN. They eventually moved to Fort Wayne, IN to be closer to family.

Orby was a very giving person, and was always willing to help others out. He would help others with their yards and give advice on gardening. He enjoyed helping others with auto repairs and computer repairs. Orby loved fishing on his boat with his family and playing canasta. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling.

He is survived by, his loving wife, Linda Greene; his three children, Tonya (Todd) McCormick, Auburn, IN, Michael Greene, Mooresville, IN and Marc Greene, of Indianapolis; five siblings, Lester (Frankie) Greene, Lafollette, TN, Carl (Verna) Greene of Shelbyville, Sue (Tom) Pemberton, of Sterling Heights, MI, Anna Collins, Carmel, IN, Shirley (Gary) Law, Greenfield, IN; six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Beulah Pittman Greene Wise. He was a PVT E3, in the Army from 1965-1970.

A visitation will be held at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home - Pine Valley, 1320 E Dupont Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825, on Thursday, February 1st, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Marion National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in memory of, Orby to the Alzheimer's Association.

Orby will be missed by his family and friends.
