OTIS "ICEMAN" SAYLOR, 67, of Columbia City, passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born March 8, 1946 in Crab Orchard, Ky. the son of the late James and Lizzie Saylor. He was an Iron Worker Union #147. He was a member of F.O.E. Columbia City and V.F.W. Columbia City. "He was one of the Greatest Pool Players of All Times." Surviving are his wife, Doris "Cooki" Saylor of Columbia City; two daughters, Lisa (Tom) Saylor-Waldrop of Fort Wayne, and Tina Saylor of Fort Wayne; son, Tommy Dennis of Orlando, Fla.; two granddaughters, Chasity Saylor and Stevie Saylor; grandson, Otis Saylor-Waldrop; sister, Bertha Baker; his beloved pets, Maggie, Daisy, Kati and Zoey. He was preceded in death by his sister, Leutichey Wheatcraft. Service is noon Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St. , with calling one hour prior. Pastor Truman Smith officiating. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013 at the funeral home.
