Patricia M Avery, 92, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023. Born on September 1, 1930, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Robert A and Glennis M (Ramsey) Adams. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne, and retired in 1991 from Lincoln National Life, after more than 22 years of service. She was a very active member of her church, and the Stephen's Ministry, she enjoyed traveling, and spent time on Missions trips with her husband Jack.
She is survived by her children, Deborah M (Tim) Nagel, Robert W Avery, and Daniel S (June) Avery; as well as grandchildren Brian, Geoffrey, and Matthew (Hayley) Avery. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Jack Avery; siblings, Joann J Deputy, and James R Adams; and two grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00am, Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2417 Getz Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 3 to 7pm, Friday, July 21, 2023, at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Turnstone Center, Fort Wayne, or Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne.
