IN THE CARE OF
D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park
PATRICIA N. BURTNETTE, 93, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, in Fort Wayne, IN. Patricia "Pat" was born Nov. 27, 1929, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Harry and Mina (nee Reed) Fraylick. She was the youngest daughter of three Fraylick sisters. Pat graduated from North Side High School in 1948. She enjoyed working in the office of Home Telephone and General Telephone. Pat was a lifelong member of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church. She married her beloved husband, Thomas "Jack" Burtnette, in 1958, and he passed away in 2014. They were married for 55 wonderful years and had two children. Pat was the wife of a firefighter and her greatest joys were being a busy, loving, and fun stay-at-home mother, and caring for her family. She adored her four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her nieces were very special to her, too.
Missing her so much are her daughter, Laurie L. (Darren) Bailey; grandchildren, Joey (Rachael) Burtnette, Jackie Burtnette, Benjamin and Emma Bailey; and great-grandchildren, Owen, Grayson and Lilly Burtnette.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband; son, Daniel T. Burtnette, in 2011; and sisters, Marcile Monnot and Marguerite Locke.
Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, with visitation from 11:30 a.m. until time of service.
