Patty and I have wonderful memories of Diann.  Heaven is richer.  It was such a privilege and joy to be her pastor.

I've never met anyone who, in her own pain and distress, was so focused on others. I've heard so many people say they aspire to live and die the way Diann did. She was a blessing to everyone whose lives she touched and I'm honored to have called her friend. Prayers for Jim and all the family who will miss her more than words can express.

Diann is one of the most courageous women I have ever known.  She is a special birthday buddy that I will miss so much.

Diann touched so many lives. I never met her in person, but I have been changed through the light and love she poured into the lives of everyone she touched. Praying for all of you.

Diann had such a sweet spirit! She demonstrated God's love to everyone she came in touch with, whether through a smile or a kind word. She will be greatly missed!

Heaven is a prepared place for His prepared people. My friend I know of no one who could have walked a more prepared road than you Diann.  The sound doctrine of the Vine, in the Holy Spirits hands is a beautiful branch of eternal life, but in the hands of the unbeliever, it is death eternal. Diann you knew the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ well and you lived it everyday of your wonderful, shortened life on earth. Your simple faith in God and your knowledge of where your help came from, is a testament, not only to your resolve, but your deep love of The Incarnate Word. As we have been a witness to your simple faith. I say I do not care if a theologian somewhere says that heaven is a fable. Those like you, my lovely M&M buddy, who have found Jesus and live for Him daily, know that heaven does exist , and I know you are as exuberant up there as you were here on earth before your illness got the better of your energy........I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2 I love you girlie. Give the Savior a Holy, Holy, Holy are you Lord for me. I'll be seeing you friend.

Diann taught me so much about wringing every ounce of joy from this life as we prepare for the next. I love her so much and will carry her legacy with me.

To Jim, Amber, Aaron, and Family: Penny  and I are  very sorry for your loss! Diann was a wonderful Christian and  dearly loved her Family! Diann was a fellow sweet M & M of mine.  She shared in prayers and encouragement to all of us even through her difficulties.  She has been and will always continue to be a blessing and witness in the lives of so many.

I knew Diann from Facebook and her blog and her spirit and testimony was so wonderful!  Will miss seeing her on Facebook but I know she is home with her Beloved Saviour!  My heart goes out to Jim and the Family!

Diann- such a beautiful soul and vibrant joyful spirit. Never once, in all the time I've known you did I ever walk away from you feeling anything less than loved and blessed. You are what role models are made of. I hope you're spreading your wings, breathing deeply, singing beautifully and laughing with the saints. I hope you have forgotten all your pain on earth, and you are experiencing the final and true birth into your forever home with Jesus. Your family is to be envied for having walked so close to you. You were faithful in being a godly wife and mom and friend. Jesus must be smiling from ear to ear to have you there. Down here- lots of tears and aching hearts. Your life will always be one I use as a plumb line for my own. Your life was one To be aspired to. You did it. You made it through. Made godly choices. Lived like Christ and bore his cross as brutal as it was. You did it. You are a hero!

Aunt Diann you will be greatly missed.  Your faith along with Jim's is something I can only hope to personally have some day.  Jim, Amber and Aaron my heart and love goes out to all of you.  I love and miss you all.  I wish I could be there to watch the ship set sail and say farewell.

Diann and I share the same birthdate...she and I sang in the choir many years together...I will miss her so much.

I read every one of Diann's books that I ever got my hands on!  Her name has been one of my favorite authors I'd look for.  I will miss new books by her coming out.  My prayers are with you, her family.  She will be greatly missed.

Sometimes we never understand why God takes those we love the most from us just when they're making the biggest difference in people's lives much like Diann did. Her life was lived with grace, strength and a true testimony to her faith in Jesus. She will be deeply missed and even though her physical presence is now home with the Lord, her legacy lives on through her family, her friends and through her words.

Live, laugh, love ~ Diann, in a nutshell! She lived her life out loud and with joy. She touched those near and far with sphere talented spirit and mega-watt smile. Gone from our presence, forever in our hearts ~

I'll never forget Diann's sweet laugh as she embraced me at our writer's conference. She loved hard and encouraged me through her faithful prayers. God's precious gift has gone Home. You will be missed, sweet one.

Only knew her for a short time via Facebook and her books, but oh, how blessed I feel that I did get to "meet" her!  Praying for all of her family and friends.

Diann was a writing mentor, friend, and Sister in Christ. She left an imprint on my life that will never be forgotten. I can't wait to reunite with her someday in heaven!

Each morning I would check Diann's Facebook page to see if she had posted. If she had, I knew that it was "a good day." My prayers turn now from asking for her healing to asking God to comfort her family. . . Diann, we miss you.

Oh, Diann; what a precious lady filled with God's love, wisdom, laughter, fun, and encourager!!!  I am so happy our paths have crossed; what a great friend!!!  You will be missed, but we will meet again in heaven! Love, and heart felt sympathy to your beautiful family!!

I was in a Bible study with Diann in the early 80's. She was an encouragement to me as I was a baby Christian. I have loved her books and stayed connected on FB and will miss her. She has been an inspiration to us all. She is being rewarded for her faith today. As we read in Hebrews 11: The world was not worthy of her!

I really loved all her books. Didn't know her but I know she was loved by all. Praying for her family and friends.

I took writing classes with Diann in Ft. Wayne at Taylor. That is where we first met many years ago. She was the kindest, most encouraging and delightful person ever and I will miss her laugh and twinkling eyes. My heart and prayers go to Jim, Aaron, Amber and their children--she was so very proud of you! Prayers for you as you go through this next part. She was a brilliant writer who learned the art of writing herself into her funny and enjoyable JOYFUL stories--and oh, how she loved Jesus! And she encouraged us in our own relationships with Jesus.  We weep.

I have never met Diann but feel like I knew her through her books and her dear friend and fellow auther Colleen Coble.You all have a Angel watching over you.May God hold you all close in his comforting arms she will be greatly missed.

I will truly miss our little chats.  Diann taught me so much and she really cared about everyone.  Her books brought me so much joy, I will never forget her.  I sent her flowers a few weeks ago, I hope they gave her the joy she gave me.

I didn't know Diann personally only from FB but I felt I had known her all my life.  What an inspiration she was to me even though she was battling for her life she never stopped Praising her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She loved her family so much.

Diann lived her life with eternity in mind, always praising her Lord even when her illness took a turn. I've learned a great deal about faith from her and thank God every day for encouragement in my life. Praying for Jim and the kids.

If there were fewer miles between me and Fort Wayne, I'd be there to pay tribute to a very special lady. Di was so special to everyone she knew. An encouragement to all. It was a blessing to know her.

My sympathy to the family.  She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her in even a small way.

I only knew Diann on Facebook, had become part of the "Accidental Prayer Warriors" who formed initially in 2011 to pray specifically for Diann.  Praying for her was part of my life for the almost 2 1/2 years.  She will be missed and so will her authorship of her great books.  I look forward to that great day when Jesus comes to take all of us home when I can finally be able to meet Diann in person.  My prayers are now for her family and close friends who are mourning for their loss.  May God our Father and Jesus our Savior wrap their strong arms around each of you in comfort.
