Patricia Lou Sheets

Patricia “Pat” L. Sheets, 93, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Born on March 9, 1932, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to parents Russell and Ellen Lambert, Patricia was treasured by so many. She was a graduate of Central High School. Pat dedicated many years of her career to Central Soya before her retirement. On January 5, 1951, she married her beloved husband, Glenn Sheets. The two spent many cherished years together before his passing on February 10, 2001. Pat loved her family and deeply valued the time she got to spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a strong and independent spirit whose colorful personality always brought a smile to the faces of her friends and families. In her personal time, Pat enjoyed expressing her creative soul through her cooking, gardening, painting and sewing. Pat is survived by her grandchildren, Staci (Thomas) Buehler, Kelly (Daniel) Simpson, and Erin (Landin) McDowell; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Landon, Brady, and Brielle; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Ellen Lambert; husband, Glenn Sheets; children, Keith Sheets and Teresa Jones-Platt; grandson, Toby Sheets; and all her siblings. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 2PM-4PM at StoryPoint North 3715 Union Chapel Road, Fort Wayne, IN, 46845. Memorial contributions may be made out in Pat’s honor to Humane Fort Wayne and the American Cancer Society.
