Patty Mae Woods

Patricia "Patty" Mae Woods, age 58, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025. Patty was born on March 27, 1967, in Fort Wayne, to Alan Williamson and Colleen Worrell Gagnon. She grew up a native to the area and graduated from New Haven High School in 1987, where she was a standout on the basketball team. Right after high school, Patty met and married Mark Woods, and they welcomed children, Jennifer and Eric, into the family soon after.

Patty loved her family and friends, but spending time with her grandchildren was her ultimate joy. She was the "greatest NANA in history!", according to her grandkids. She was always good for a laugh and enjoyed spending her free time outdoors. Patty was an avid Joan Jett fan and a devoted follower of the Chicago Bears.

She will forever be remembered by her husband of 38 years, Mark Woods; children, Jennifer Woods and Eric (Ashlee) Woods; grandkids, Alayah, Annaleigh, Leeum, David, Kyndle, Axtyn, Emery and Holden; sisters, Debbie (Dave) Kemp, and Cindy (Bob) Goleeke. She is also missed by her beloved dog, Molly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alan Williamson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 2:00 pm. at D.O. McComb and Sons, Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 am. Internment at IOOF Cemetery in New Haven. A Celebration of Life will be held at her home on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
